We’ve answered some of the questions we hear most often from property owners throughout Northwest Arkansas below.
What services are provided by your company?
Travis’ Green Lawns tackles everything outdoors that grows. We offer Lawn Treatment Programs, Tree and Shrub Treatment Programs, Outdoor Pest Control Programs, Aeration and Overseed Services, Vegitation Elimination, Misquito Control, Consultation Services, and other various outdoor services.
When should I start treating my lawn or landscape?
Our programs are yearly plans. There is no specific time that’s best to begin as each season benefits from the different phases of our treatment programs. The answer: Now!
How do I know when to water? How much should I water?
Watering is of utmost importance not only for your plants, but also to ensure you get the most out of our Lawn and Landscape Treatments. We will not leave you wondering. Each application will come with watering recommendations that are specific to your plant types.
Any advice on mowing?
Absolutely. We will provide mowing recommendations with each lawn treatment. These recommendations will be specific to your grass type, and will aid in advising the best way to mow in proportion to proper watering habits.
How often will you visit my property for lawn applications?
If you are a full program customer, you will be receiving 7 applications per year. We will be on your lawn every 4 to 6 weeks. The time span between applications may vary a small bit due to schedule adjustments for weather.
Are your products safe for my pets?
We invest in only the highest of quality products. This includes seeking out manufacturers that provide the safest products. Please remember that if is not safe for a pet, it is probably not safe for us to handle, either. We are committed to avoiding any product line that we do not feel is safe both during and following application. Simply allow the lawn to dry once we have completed our application. Then, feel free to enjoy your lawn.
How long does each treatment take?
This varies as each treatment is different and depends on the diagnosis of your lawn when we arrive, and the size of your lawn is also a factor. Our company utilizes the best equipment in the area. This helps us to minimize the time spent treating, and allows us to utilize our time to make sure we have met all of your lawn’s needs upon each visit.
I just had my first treatment, but I still see some weeds. Why?
It is important to keep in mind that you are investing in a “program” for your lawn. We are not a “one hit wonder.” While you will see significant improvement following each application, the first year of our service on the lawn will be spent addressing each of your needs seasonally. Following the completion of that first year, our goal is to be strictly proactive to any negative development on your lawn. This allows us to maintain the beautiful green lawn that both you and we desire to see.
How do I pay for my services?
Once an application has been completed, the information regarding the application will be left on your door. You will also see one of our signs on the lawn advising that a treatment has been made. You are welcome to pay by check, phone call to our office, or you can pay your bill online. You will also receive a payment link via email within 48 hrs following treatment. We also offer discounts for prepayment of yearly programs.
Do you eliminate nutsedge? My previous service couldn't get rid of it.

Do you offer customized lawn care plans?
Yes! No two lawns are exactly the same. While our goals for each property may be similar, your treatment plan must be customized by considering your specific grass type, soil composition, shade or sun periods, and your lawn’s surrounding environment. Your technician will fully analyze your lawn upon each visit to make sure that each scheduled treatment meets your needs. If we have any additional recommendations, we will contact you for approval, and make sure that you are properly informed.
Do you also service commercial properties?
Yes. We offer programs for commercial clients, including annual maintenance agreements that, if needed, will work with your current maintenance provider.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. We are fully licensed and insured to provide treatments for both commercial and residential properties.
How do I get a quote for my property?
We offer free estimates! You can contact our office via our website, email us, find us on social media, or call our office. We will fully analyze your property, and provide you with a detailed proposal.
How long until I see results from my treatments?
Our program delivers almost immediate results. Noting that turf management is an ongoing process, if you’ll follow our watering and mowing recommendations, you’ll see improvement within the first 7 to 10 days. Each of the applications in our program builds on the other, so results are always very apparent.
